Torino club captain Andrea Belotti is reportedly ignoring the clubs offer of a contract renewal, angering chairman Urbano Cairo. Il Gallo has a contract with the Granata until 2022 but talks over extending his stay in Turin have come to a standstill.
La Stampa report that the club have made an offer of €3 million a season to their captain in an effort to renew his contract, but Belotti has so far ignored it.
According to the report, this has angered Cairo, who is now waiting to discuss the players future amidst the possibility that they will have to sell him this summer, rather than losing him for free next year.
Belotti has previously been linked with Milan as well as Premier League clubs Arsenal and Fulham. He’s scored 113 goals in 251 appearances for Torino during seven seasons with the club.
