Benjamin Sesko’s Agents spark Milan move speculation

Start

Benjamin Sesko’s potential transfer to Milan has taken a significant turn as his agents, from Pro Transfer agency, recently posted an intriguing Instagram story from the heart of Milan. The story, shared on their official account, showcased the iconic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, situated near the Duomo, confirming their presence in the city.

The buzz surrounding Sesko’s rumored move to Milan has escalated in recent days. According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport,  Milan areoptimistic about securing a deal with the 20-year-old striker, especially after receiving an endorsement from none other than Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Elvis Basanovic, the head of Pro Transfer, had previously hinted at Milan’s interest in Sesko back in October 2023, during Paolo Maldini’s tenure at the club:

“I can confirm I spoke to Milan in the past for Sesko, Maldini was there,” he stated. “However, a transfer was not possible at that moment. It wasn’t the right time. You never know what the future holds. Milan are a great club and Sesko is really happy at Leipzig, where he is continuing his growing path.”

Sesko’s contract with RB Leipzig features a release clause of €50 million, but it could potentially escalate to €75 million. Additionally, Arsenal has also emerged as a potential suitor for the Slovenian international.

With an impressive tally of 16 goals in 40 appearances during the 2023-24 season, Sesko’s burgeoning talent has attracted the attention of several top clubs across Europe, making his future destination a topic of intense speculation.
