Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets has confirmed that Franck Kessie will join the club for free in the summer. The move has been widely reported with Kessie having already completed his Barca medical and signed a contract. Speaking to Mundo Deportivo, Busquets offered some brief thoughts on the move:

I am happy to have a stronger team and that people want to come here. I’ve seen him play. He’s physically strong, doesn’t lose many balls, holds the ball well… I’m sure he’ll do well and help us.”
The Ivorian international will reportedly earn close to €7 million a season, including bonuses after 5 seasons with the Rossoneri.
