Chelsea are interested in signing Inter youth-team product Cesare Casadei following his impressive spells at youth level. The 19-year-old midfielder has been closely linked with Torino and was expected to be part of the deal that would bring Brazilian defender Bremer to the San Siro.
Sky Sport Italia now report that Chelsea are very keen to agree a deal for the starlet, and had already discussed his availability when the two sides met to discuss the deal for Romelu Lukaku .
Casadei is already drawing comparisons to Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and has been part of the senior Inter squad, despite not having made his Serie A debut.
Inter will reportedly try and include a buy-back clause on the youngster as they do not want to lose out on him for the long-term.
