Galatasaray winger Nicolò Zaniolo is keen to return to Italy, and is once again being linked with a move to Juventus. The 24-year-old spent the last season on loan at Aston Villa, but the Premier League side are not looking to exercise their option to sign him, meaning a return to Turkiye for the winger.
Serie A sides have been linked with a switch for the former Roma man, and Il Corriere di Torino, echoing earlier reports by Sportitalia, are linking Zaniolo with Juventus once more. The Turin giants are actively searching for wingers to solidify Thiago Motta’s preferred 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 formations.
After an underwhelming season at Aston Villa, Zaniolo is set to return to Galatasaray, though his stay there is unlikely to last. This situation has opened the door for a possible move to the Bianconeri.
Juventus are s also pursuing Mason Greenwood, who has already expressed initial interest, however, securing a deal with Manchester United remains a complex task.
Turning back to Zaniolo, Villarreal have shown interest as well. Nevertheless, the Italian international prefers a return to his home country, with Juventus being a particularly appealing option. It remains to be seen whether negotiations will advance or if economic factors will once again divert the player from making a move to Turin.
