De Ketelaere’s agent responds to skepticism

Start

Charles De Ketalere’s agent addressed the Belgian international’s difficult start to the life of a Rossonerri to the media.

Since his 30m euro move to Milan from Belgian outfit Brugge, the 21 year-old had a difficult time finding his groove within Pioli’s system as he only notched in a single assist in 13 games played for the Milanese club within the Serie A.

Consequently, the Emilian tactician dropped De Ketelaere in favour of Spaniard Brahim Diaz within the attacking midfield role. With the rising star seeming lifeless within numeorus of his outings on the pitch, the youngster piled on an enormous amount of skepticism from the media.

Earlier this morning, Tom De Mul responded to the criticism regarding his client’s displays and the pressure of him potentially being the next Kaka, via MilanNews:

Comparison with Kakà? Ricky was a phenomenon, but it is a combination that you would rather not have when you start in a new club. However, Pioli and the managers are trusting him. They are serene.”
