Juventus are close to announcing a contract extension for young starlet Dean Huijsen, with a plan to bring him into the first team. The 18-year-old has been a revelation in the Bianconeri Next Gen team, having joined them from the Malaga youth setup in 2021.
The Dutch centre-back was part of the contingent that travelled the US in pre-season and has already been earmarked by Juve management for progression into the first team.
The youngster penned a contract extension in June of this year, tying him to Juve until at least 2027, but reports suggest that will be extended by a year.
Transfer journalist Nicolo Schira reports that Huijsen will renew his deal until 2028 with Juve are deliberately not signing a new CB as they hope to integrate him into the squad.
