Roma are working on a deal to keep Leeds United defender Diego Llorente beyond the expiry of his loan this month. The Spanish defender joined the Giallorossi in January and went on to make a positive impression on coach Jose Mourinho and Roma’s management during his six months in the Italian capital.
Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Roma are now in talks with Leeds United to secure the players return this summer.
The Giallorossi are expected to reach an agreement with Leeds in the coming weeks, with the player reportedly keen to remain in the capital.
The 29-year-old made 12 appearances for the club across all competitions, including featuring in the Europa League final against Sevilla.
