Done Deal: Fabian Ruiz to join PSG

Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz is set to join PSG with the Spanish international expected in Paris today to complete his club medical. Ruiz has been left out of the Napoli squad for the first three match days after failing to agree terms on a new deal, leaving him free to negotiate a move away from Naples.

Sky Sport Italia, Fabrizio Romano, La Gazzetta dello Sport and a number of other Italian outlets report that a deal has now been agreed for 26-year-old to join the Ligue 1 champions with the move expected to be completed within the next 48 hours.

According to Gazzetta, Napoli will earn €23m plus performance-related add-ons from the sale of Ruiz while the midfielder has agreed a salary in the region of €5m per season.

The move is expected to free Argentine midfielder Leandro Paredes from PSG so that he can move to Juventus, and could potentially pave the way for Keylor Navas to complete his switch to Naples.
