Paulo Dybala says Cremonese felt like Roma’s kryptonite following the Giallorossi’s 2-1 win in the Coppa Italia. Frank Tsadjout gave the visitors the lead in the first half, putting the Grigiorossi on course for another Coppa Italia victory over Roma, having already beaten them in last seasons edition. A late Romelu Lukaku equaliser set up a tense end to the match, with Dybala converting from the sport in the 85th minute. Speaking post-match, La Joya explained what it took to beat the visitors, and what he expects from the upcoming Rome Derby int he quarter-finals:
“It felt like Cremonese were our kryptonite. I think we underestimated them and we weren’t mean enough. Football is like that, they had a chance and they scored and they play well, they are a nice team to watch. In the second half we reacted well and we deserved to win.”
“We had the chances at the beginning and at the end. Azmoun also entered well, he gives us a lot of energy whenever he comes on.”
“Lazio? We must first think about Atalanta. The derby is something beautiful for football and for the people.”
