Fabio Paratici has 30-month ban partially reduced

Former Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur director Fabio Paratici has had his ban partially reduced after appealing the decision to FIFA. The 50-year-old was one of a number of sporting executives who were banned from Italian football following an investigation by the FIGC into Juventus’ activities.

FIFA extended the FIGC ban and imposed further limitations, which banned Paratici from “any football-related activity”, prompting him to resign from his role as Tottenham’s Managing Director last week.

The former Juve executives lawyer’s lodged an appeal to the ban which FIFA have accepted as of yesterday, allowing Paratici to  continue working in football albeit in a reduced capacity.

Paratici is still able to over administrative duties withing a club and represent a club in relevant league meetings.
