Fiorentina and Bologna have reportedly begun talks regarding winger Riccardo Orsolini, who is pushing to join La Viola. The 26-year-old had reportedly been in talks with the Rossoblu over a contract extension, given that his deal with the club is set to end in June 2024.
Journalist Flavio Ognissanti now reports that the two sides have begun talks over a possible transfer, after Fiorentina approached Bologna about signing the player.
According to his report, Orsolini has asked Bologna for €2.2m per season, but would accept less to move to Florence.
The winger enjoyed his best season to date in his professional career, scoring 11 goals in 32 Serie A appearances for the Rossblu in 2022-23.
