Fiorentina look to Grillitsch and Dubois

Fiorentina are edging ever closer to completing transfer deals for Florian Grillitsch and Leo Dubois this summer. La Viola are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of a return to the European football next season, focusing on midfield and the flanks.

The club were expected to sign Lucas Torreira from Arsenal and while the deal has hit complications, they would like to make one last attempt.

Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Fiorentina are close to securing a deal for Austrian midfielder Florian Grillitsch who is out of contract with Hoffenheim this summer.

La Viola are expected to meet with his agent Kristian Bereit of the Stellar Group on Thursday or Friday this week and propose a four-year contract of €2 million net per season.

The club are also seeking a replacement for Alvaro Odriozola after the Spaniard  returned to Real Madrid. Lyon captain Léo Dubois has been identified as a potential target and talks have already begun over a transfer.
