Fiorentina are preparing an offer for Belgian midfielder Dennis Praet who spent last season on loan with Torino. The 28-year-old made his name in Serie A during a three-season spell with Sampdoria, before making the switch to the Premier League where he joined Leicester.
Praet struggled to settle during his brief stint there and returned to Italy where he spent the 2021-22 season on loan with the Granata. He’s now returned to Leicester and is expected to leave the club permenantly this summer.
Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Fiorentina are looking to reinforce their midfield after failing to agree terms for Lucas Torreira.
They’re close to agreeing a move for Juve midfielder Rolando Mandragora and have set their sights on Praet next.
La Viola are expected to make an offer in the region of €7m for the midfielder, or offer to take him on loan with an obligation to buy, based on appearances.
