Start

Fulham have agreed a deal with Torino for Serbian midfielder Saša Lukić.

Torino accepted a €10m bid from Fulham this morning, as reported by Fabrizio Romano. Fulham had recently seen an opening €8m proposal rejected

Lukić, 26, has already agreed personal terms with the Premier League club and will travel to London imminently to complete medical examinations.

The Serbia international made 16 appearances in Serie A this season, scoring two goals. He spent seven seasons under contract at Torino, making 162 appearances across all competitions for the club.

Ivan Ilić, meanwhile, was signed on loan by Torino from Hellas Verona earlier today, who is expected to immediately replace his countryman’s role in the team. Torino hijacked Marseille’s deal for Ilić which was on the verge of being completed last week.

Lukić has reportedly agreed a four-year contract with Fulham which will see him earn a yearly salary of €2m plus bonuses, according to Nicolò Schira.
