Galliani: ‘Icardi? lets see what happens…’

Monza sporting director Adriano Galliani has refused to rule out a move for PSG striker Mauro Icardi, saying ‘Let’s see what happens.’ The newly promoted side have been among the most active in the summer transfer window, attracting a host of Serie A players.

Icardi has been linked with a switch all summer with Galliani previously suggesting that he had a good relationship with the player and his agent/wife, Wanda.

Galliani was once again asked about a potential move by Sportmediaset, given that Icardi doesn’t feature in PSG’s plans for the upcoming season:

“I don’t know, I won’t talk about transfers tonight. Let’s see what happens.

We have signed players who know Serie A because it always takes time for foreign players to settle in. This season, we can’t afford not to do well from the start.

“The Scudeto? Juventus, Inter and Milan have been winning the title for the last 20 years and I don’t think we’ll see something different.

“Roma will do very well, Napoli have a good team but, as a Milan fan, I hope the Rossoneri will win.”
