Gazzetta: Stuttgart in Italy for talks with Milan regarding Guirassy

Start

La Gazzetta dello Sport report that representatives from Stuttgart are in Italy and have taken the opportunity to initiate discussions with Milan about Serhou Guirassy. The Guinean striker has been in impressive form this season, netting 30 goals in 30 appearances across the Bundesliga and the German Cup.

Gazzetta claim that during the meeting between the two clubs, the focus was less on the transfer fee—since Guirassy has a release clause set at €17.5 million—and more on the specifics of the payment structure and other finer details.

Guirassy remains on Milan’s shortlist alongside Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee and Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko. However, unlike his counterparts, he comes with a relatively affordable price tag.

Bologna values Zirkzee at €40 million, while Leipzig are demanding €70 million for the Slovenian player. At €17.5 million, Guirassy is a bargain for a number nine, but negotiations hinge on his substantial wage demands. Additionally, Guirassy has garnered interest from several Premier League clubs.
