Inter maintain Interest in Ndoye as Bologna prepare for potential replacements

Start

Inter Milan’s summer transfer activity has so far included the arrivals of Josep Martinez, Piotr Zielinski, and Mehdi Taremi. However, coach Simone Inzaghi is still in need of additional reinforcements, specifically a central defender, a winger, and a second striker. The club’s efforts have been constrained by budget limitations set by the new ownership, Oaktree, and the challenge of offloading players like Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa.

Calciomercato report how despite these challenges, Inter continues to pursue Dan Ndoye, a versatile Swiss international of Senegalese descent, currently under contract with Bologna until June 2027.

Ndoye, who impressed during his first season in Italy and at the European Championships, is valued at more than double the €9 million Bologna paid Basel for him. His ability to play both as an attacker and a wide midfielder in a 3-5-2 formation makes him an attractive option for Inter.

Meanwhile, Bologna is preparing for the possibility of Ndoye’s departure by exploring potential replacements. The club is considering Belgian Cyril Ngonge from Napoli, formerly of Verona, and Uruguayan Facundo Pellistri, who has returned to Manchester United after a loan spell at Granada.
