Inter Milan are actively pursuing a transfer for Karim Konate and are monitoring the young talent from RB Salzburg as they seek to enhance their attacking options. The Nerazzurri have reached out to Salzburg to discuss a potential transfer in the coming weeks, particularly after Fiorentina secured a deal for Albert Gudmundsson, prompting Inter to explore new forward options.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter’s management are also looking to offload Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa, both of whom are not part of coach Simone Inzaghi’s plans. This summer, they welcomed Medhi Taremi to the squad to strengthen their offensive lineup.
Recent reports indicate that Inter have made initial contact with RB Salzburg regarding Konate, who is valued at €25 million. The 20-year-old striker is under contract with the Austrian club until June 2028, which gives Salzburg leverage in negotiations.
In addition to discussing a potential transfer, Inter is keen to assess Konate’s fitness, as he recently withdrew from a Champions League preliminary match against Twente due to a knee injury.
