Inter – Samardzic transfer on hold

Reports from Italy suggest that Lazar Samardzic’s transfer to Inter is on the verge of collapse after his entourage changed terms at the last minute. The Serbian international has already completed a club medical with the Nerazzurri and his transfer announcement was expected to be a formality today.

FCInter1908 now report that Samardzic’s father and entourage visited Inter HQ for talks, but the meeting went very badly.

According to their report, Samardzic’s representatives had changed their demands at the last minute, angering Inter, who are ready to call off the whole move.

Premier League club West Ham are also showing a last minute interest in the player, especially if they sell Lucas Paqueta to Manchester City this summer.

Inter had agreed a deal for €15m plus young midfielder Fabbian for a valuation of €25m, including a buy-back clause on Fabbian worth €12m in 2024 and €15m in 2025.
