Reports from Italian media claim Inter ultras convened at the club’s headquarters to protest the purchase of former Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado. The Colombian international is expected to sign on a free transfer this week, with his club medical reportedly scheduled for today.
Cuadrado spent almost a decade in Turin with the Bianconeri, a point that Inter ultras are unhappy with, pointing to his behaviour in previous editions of the Derby D’Italia. The 35-year-old is expected to sign a one-year deal with the Nerazzuri with no options for extension or renewal.
La Repubblica claim that Inter ultras protested the decision at the clubs training ground and demanded to meet the player before his signing, as they wished to ‘explain to him our values.’
