Inter waiting on Milan Skrinar response

Start

Inter are still waiting on a response from defender Milan Skriniar after making an improved contract renewal offer to the player. The Slovakian is into the final five months of his existing contract with the Nerazzurri and has so far failed to agree terms on a new deal. Skriniar is now free to entertain offers from other clubs, and talks over a renewal with Inter have reportedly been put on hold until after their Supercoppa Italiana match against AC Milan.

Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca di Marzio writes that 2023 has begun as 2022 ended, with Inter still negotiating terms with the centre-back. Their current offer to the player is €6m per season, plus various performance related bonuses.

For now, Inter are not prepared to improve the terms and are waiting on a response from Skrinar who is also being followed by PSG, Manchester United and Liverpool.
