Investcorp suspend Milan bid

Bahrain based investment fund Investcorp have reportedly ‘suspended’ their bid to buy Milan football club. Previous reports had suggested the takeover was close to being completed as Elliott Management had accepted the bid and were finalising details.

News agency Reuters reports that Ivestcorp have ‘suspended’ their bid to buy AC Milan with no other updates offered.

This follows on from news that RedBird Capital are now the favourites to complete a takeover of the Serie A side with Elliott expected to retain a minority stake in the club.
