Inzaghi not at risk for the moment

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is not at risk of being sacked for the moment, but the club expected improvements to their results. The Nerazzurri slumped to a disappointing 3-1 loss to high-flying Udinese at the weekend, their third league defeat of the season and a result that saw club Ultras up in arms over the poor run of form.

Tuttosport report that the club management are still standing behind Inzaghi for the moment but expect the team to prove themselves after the international break.

Inzaghi is set to meet with club director Giuseppe Marotta tomorrow and when the squad returns, the coach is expected to talk with senior figures in the locker room to ensure everyone is still pulling in the right direction.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Inzaghi believes he can turn things around and has absolute faith in his team after their tough start. The coach has failed to single out players for their poor results, laying the blame squarley on his own shoulders.
