Juventus left it late but Andrea Cambiaso’s first goal for the club was enough to put them at the top of the Serie A standings for the first time in over three years.
Juventus
Szczesny: A spectacular save in the first ’45 to deny Bonazzoli, but not often tested by the Verona attacking lineup in the second half. 6.5/10
Gatti: A rough and tumble type of performance, could have been sent off for a wayward strike on a Verona player. Whipped in the cross for the late winner. 6.5/10
Bremer: One poor clearance aside, he was a defensive rock, marshalling his back line well to keep Verona quiet. 6.5/10
Rugani: Picked up a silly booking, but once again, he is finding maturity in his later years by being a steady presence in the Juve back line. 6.5/10
McKennie: Played a wonderful cross for Kean’s disallowed goal and generally seems to be finding his feet once again. Solid. 6.5/10
Weah: A strong start but he waned and didn’t offer enough in the final third. 5.5/10
Locatelli: A wonderful shift from a player who is really coming into his own in the Juve midfield. 7.0/10
Rabiot: Started slowly but grew into the game, forcing a save and having a few good chances on goal. 6.0/10
Kostic: Frustrating at times with his distribution, really needed to do better with two target men in the box. 6.0/10
Vlahovic: Wasted some good chances but was anonymous for large periods of the match. 5.5/10
Kean: Deserved at least one goal on the night. Excellent movement, great finishing, a young talent who might finally be finding his feet. 7.0/10

Miretti: 6.0/10
Chiesa: Fired off a few decent efforts that would have been goals on another night. 6.0/10
