Juventus 1-1 Bologna: Player Ratings

Start

Juventus struggled to make the most of home advantage, fighting back to snatch a draw against Bologna courtesy of a Vlahovic header.

Juventus

Perin: Made a couple of straightforward stops but could do little on the Bologna opener. Great late work to deny Dominguez. 6.5/10

Danilo: Good early clearances to deny Zirkzee and continued to be the best of the back three. 6.0/10

Bremer: Good early start with some vital clearances. Bit of a tangle for the Bologna opener, but he was decent thereafter. 6.0/10

Sandro: Had to do better on the opening goal but put in a solid shift after going behind. 6.0/10

Weah: Encouraging start from the youngster, lots of pace but lacking in the final third. Got into one good position but would have been better squaring it. Forced a great save from Skorupski as the second half started.  starting to find his feet. 6.0/10

Locatelli: Struggled to really stamp his authority on the midfield. A poor display, despite being heavily marked by Ferguson. 5.5/10

Rabiot: Poor challenge to pick up an early booking. A mixed game, some good moments but not enough to make that vital difference. 6.0/10

Fagioli: Very poor opening half, looked a yard off the pace. Blazed a good effort into the side netting.  5.0/10

Cambiaso: Drifted across the pitch, good at both ends without making a real impact. 6.0/10

Vlahovic: Kept pressing and making runs….but some of them were poorly timed. Had the ball in the net but it was disallowed. Made no mistake on the second effort, scored a perfect headed goal to get Juve back in it. 7.5/10

Chiesa: Like his attacking teammate, he had the legs to run, but lacked that clinical edge in the final third. 6.0/10

Substitutions:

Iling Jr: Struggled to settle but once he had a free run, he fired in a superb cross for Vlahovic. 6.5

Pogba: 5.5/10

Milik: 5.5/10

Bologna

Skorupski: One easy save to make, one awkward stop, but seldom tested in the first ’45. Made a great stop to deny Weah from distance. 6.0/10

Posch: Put in a great shift on the right, marshalling Cambiaso and Chiesa. 6.0/10

Beukema: Some really smart tackles, particularly the one to deny Chiesa in the first half. 6.5/10

Lucumi: In the right places at the right times, didn’t really have much to contend with from the Juve attack at times. 6.0/10

Lykogiannis: Good judge of the early danger, marshalled his back line well. 6.0/10

Moro: Had a couple of shots from distance to try and test Perin. 6.0/10

Aebischer: Solid without being spectacular. 5.5/10

Ferguson: Good break to create a decent opening chance that should have been taken. Made no mistakes the second time, lovely finish to beat Perin. 7.0/10

Orsolini: Surpringly quiet for large periods of the game. Subbed off.  5.5/10

Ndoye: Lovely play, drifting in from the left to create space. Caused problems for the Juve defence but was also brilliant at the back. 6.5/10

Zirkzee: Good movement, set up the opening goal with some excellent individual work. Seemed to skip and dance past the Juve back-line at times. 7.0/10

Substitutions:

Karlsson: Had a great late chance to potentially win it, should have gone alone. 6.0/10

Dominguez: Lively sub, had the legs to test the Juve defence. 6.0/10

Corazza: 5.5/10

Azzouzi: N/A
