Juventus and Inter are both being linked with a move for Empoli full-back Fabiano Parisi but face competition from a number of sides. The 21-year-old has emerged as one of the most exciting young prospects in Italian football following a string of strong performances for Gli Azzurri.
Italian journalist Nicolo Schira reports that both the Bianconeri and Nerazzuri had scouts present for Empoli’s 1-0 victory over Bologna, specifically with a view to watch Parisi.
The youngster has featured for the Azzurri’s under-21 side and is attracting attention from like of Premier League side Leeds with his agent stating: “We had many clubs (interested), from Atalanta to Torino to Fiorentina, Leeds and Nice in agreement with Empoli but we decided to wait.”
Parisi began his career with Benevento before having a breakthrough season with Avellino, earning him a move to Empoli in 2020.
