Multiple reports from the Italian media suggest Juventus and Roma are close to agreeing a deal for the transfer of Matias Soule. The two sides have been in talks for the youngster for a number of weeks, with the Argentine forward reportedly professing a preference to join the Giallorossi, despite offers from Leicester City and West Ham.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano now reports that a deal between the two teams is very close to being agreed on, suggesting that a transfer could be imminent in the days to come.
Roma have been pushing hard to secure Soulé’s services, demonstrating their strong interest in bringing the young talent to the Italian capital. The Giallorossi are reportedly prepared to increase their offer to meet Juventus’ valuation of the player.
The move is expected to be concluded for a figure close to Juve’s asking price of €30 million, more specifically, €26m up front, plus up to €4m in bonuses.
