Juventus have reportedly set their sights on acquiring a new attacking winger, with Lille’s Edon Zhegrova on their shortlist. The 25-year-old Kosovan international has been on the Bianconeri’s radar for a while, with Gazzetta dello Sport previously reporting on the links with the players.
Calciomercato report that the Juventus scouts have been on a mission to Lille multiple times in recent weeks, impressed by Zhegrova’s personality, agility, and creative prowess. However, what truly aligns with Juventus’ needs is his versatility. Edon is a natural left-footer who thrives on the right flank with his inverted foot but has also excelled on the opposite side this season.
At present, Zhegrova’s potential move to Juventus remains speculative, but there’s an understanding that the club’s amicable relationship with Lille could facilitate negotiations. Cristiano Giuntoli, Juventus’ sporting director, has inquired about the player’s price tag, which is not expected to exceed €15 million. With a contract expiring in 2026, Lille are yet to determine whether to offload Edon in the transfer market. Zhegrova’s immediate focus is on securing Champions League qualification for Lille, with a potential move to Juventus on the horizon thereafter.
