Juventus director Giuntoli in talks with Lewis Ferguson Agent

Start

Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli has reportedly held talks with the agent of Bologna midfielder Lewis Ferguson. The Bianconeri are looking to reinforce their midfield options in the summer, and have made Ferguson one of their targets, along with Atalata’s Teun Koopmeiners.

Calciomercato.com report that at present, Juventus stand as the frontrunner for the Scottish midfielder, whose potential transfer hints at significant developments in the transfer market. Ferguson has also caught the attention of Napoli, Milan, and Lazio, indicating his widespread appeal among Serie A clubs.

Securing Ferguson’s signature could require an investment of approximately €25 million to persuade Bologna to part ways with the talented midfielder. This potential acquisition represents a comparatively lower cost to the pursuit of Koopmeiners.

In contrast, the pursuit of Ederson appears to be losing momentum for Juventus. The Brazilian midfielder, currently plying his trade at Atalanta, has reportedly attracted interest from Atletico Madrid, placing Juventus at a relative distance in negotiations.
