Juventus looking for winger: New contacts for Adeyemi

Start

Juventus are buzzing with activity as both incoming and outgoing transfers dominate the agenda. Following the finalized sale of Matias Soulé to Roma for a fixed fee of €26 million, plus €2 million in easily achievable bonuses, an additional €2 million in more complex bonuses, and a 10% cut of any future sale, the club is now focusing on securing new signings. The immediate targets are Todibo and potentially Koopmeiners.

Calciomercato report that Today is also pivotal for another reason: Federico Chiesa is set to have a crucial meeting with coach Thiago Motta. Chiesa’s contract expires on June 30, 2025, and negotiations for an extension have stalled. Chiesa seeks a more central role and a salary adjustment, while Giuntoli sees him as expendable and only willing to renew under the current terms. As a result, Chiesa is likely to leave Juventus, with a starting price of 20 million euros, potentially rising with performance-related bonuses. His agent, Fali Ramadani, is in London exploring interest from Premier League clubs, particularly Chelsea and Tottenham.

Juventus, therefore, needs to strengthen its offensive lineup, looking for a backup to Vlahovic and a versatile winger compatible with Thiago Motta’s preferred formations, likely a 4-2-3-1 or an alternative 4-3-3. The key targets identified by Cristiano Giuntoli are:

Karim Adeyemi

Adeyemi is open to joining Juventus, although no concrete offer has been made yet. Juventus plans to initiate new talks with Adeyemi’s representatives to agree on personal terms, following a positive meeting with his father-agent last week. However, Borussia Dortmund’s asking price starts at €40 million. Juventus aims to secure an agreement with Adeyemi to strengthen their negotiating position with Dortmund, with a loan option also being considered.

Jadon Sancho

Manchester United has officially listed Jadon Sancho for sale, following his return from a loan at Borussia Dortmund. Paris Saint-Germain has also shown interest. United is asking for 40 million pounds (approximately €47 million ) for Sancho, justified by his contract running until June 30, 2028. Juventus is exploring a loan with an option to buy, but has not received positive feedback. Sancho’s high salary of around 10 million euros net per season poses an additional challenge, potentially requiring Juventus to seek financial assistance from United for the wages.
