A report from La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Juventus have opened talks with Sassuolo to try and sign midfielder Davide Frattesi. The 23-year-old has long been linked with a return to Roma, where he started his career, but the Bianconeri may steal a march on the opposition.
La Gazzetta claim that despite the uncertainty surrounding Juve at the moment, the clubs new directors have already begun talks with Sassuolo and the midfielder’s agent Beppe Riso.
Juve have admired Frattesi for some time and coach Massimiliano Allegri is reportedly a fan of the Italian international and while official negotiations are yet to begin in earnest, the Bianconeri have made their interest known.
Frattesi has scored five goals in 22 appearances this season and his contract at the Mapei Stadium until June 2026.
