Juventus are preparing to renew their pursuit of Atalanta’s midfield sensation Teun Koopmeiners, despite already making significant reinforcements to their squad this summer. The Turin giants have already bolstered their midfield with the acquisitions of Douglas Luiz and Khephren Thuram. However, the unexpected departure of Adrien Rabiot, who declined to extend his contract, has left a void that Juventus is keen to fill with a top-class playmaker.
Atalanta have set a hefty price tag of €60 million for Koopmeiners, a valuation they’ve steadfastly maintained. This substantial fee reflects the 26-year-old’s impressive performances since joining the Bergamo-based club from AZ Alkmaar in 2021. Koopmeiners has established himself as one of Serie A’s most highly-rated midfielders, known for his exceptional goalscoring ability and playmaking skills.
