Juventus is poised to make their first official offer to Manchester United for Jadon Sancho as they look to bolster their attacking options before the transfer window closes.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Italian giants are not content with just pursuing Teun Koopmeiners and aim to further strengthen their squad by bringing in Sancho to provide more firepower for manager Thiago Motta. Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is set to submit an initial loan proposal to Manchester United in the coming hours.
However, the English club are demanding a substantial fee for the 24-year-old winger. Sancho has fallen out of favor at Old Trafford after a public spat with manager Erik ten Hag last season, and has not featured in United’s first two Premier League matches this campaign.
Juventus see Sancho as an ideal reinforcement for their attack, but negotiations may prove tricky given United’s high valuation of the player. The Turin side will likely need to structure a deal creatively, potentially including an option or obligation to buy, to make the move feasible.
With just days remaining in the transfer window, Juventus is pushing to get a deal over the line for Sancho.
