Juventus suffer latest injury setback

Juventus have suffered yet another injury setback with youngster Fabio Miretti set to return from international duty. The 19-year-old was set to feature for the Azzurri’s U21 team having been one of the few Juve players to have impressed so far this season with the Bianconeri.

Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Miretti has been forced to return early to the Juventus training ground after sustaining a distorting trauma to  his right ankle in a training session.

The starlet is expected to return to Turin and further tests will be undertaken to assess the status of his injury and give an approximation of the recovery time.

Miretti has featured heavily for Juve this season, making 9 appearances across Serie A and the Champions League.
