Juventus to make €45 Million bid for Koopmeiners, Todibo deal progressing

Start

As Juventus conclude their German training camp, the club is gearing up to intensify their pursuit of Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners. With the sales of Matias Soulé and Dean Huijsen nearly finalized, the Bianconeri are now focusing on incoming transfers.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report how sporting Director Cristiano Giuntoli is ready to make a concrete move for Koopmeiners, who has been a top target since December. After an unsuccessful approach in January, Juventus feel prepared to negotiate with Atalanta. The club is finalizing a strategy for their first offer, expected to be around €45 million including bonuses.

While this initial bid may not meet Atalanta’s valuation, it’s seen as an important step to open negotiations. Juventus hopes to bridge the gap between their €45 million offer and Atalanta’s €55-60 million asking price through bonuses and a potential sell-on clause.

Koopmeiners is reportedly keen on the move but remains professional and grateful to Atalanta. He’s expected to request the club facilitate a transfer, reminiscent of his approach last summer when Napoli showed interest.

Meanwhile, talks with Nice for Jean-Clair Todibo are progressing. The French defender is set on joining Juventus, and Nice is open to a creative deal structure involving an initial loan with an obligation to buy based on certain conditions. The total deal could reach €30-35 million plus bonuses.

Juventus hope to secure Todibo next week, coinciding with the return of international players like Danilo, Bremer, Douglas Luiz, and Kenan Yildiz.

For the wide positions, Galeno from Porto remains the primary target, with Karim Adeyemi of Borussia Dortmund as an alternative. These deals are expected to take more time to materialize.
