Juventus to opt for Arkadiusz Milik

Juventus are reportedly close to choosing Marseille striker Arkadiusz Milik over Barcelona’s Memphis Depay. The Bianconeri are in the final stages of signing a backup forward to play as deputy for Dusan Vlahovic with Depay their preferred choice.

The Dutchman’s high salary demands and request for a three-year-contract has reportedly pushed Juve to look elsewhere, namely Marseille’s Milik.

Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Juve have already reached an agreement with the French side for the transfer of the Polish International.

The club are now in talks with the players agents to agree personal terms in a deal that will likely see him join on loan with an option to buy.

Juve are expected to offer a €2m loan fee with an option to sign Milik outright for €8m next summer.
