Juventus v Inter for Bremer

Juventus and Inter are expected to go head-to-head to sign last seasons defender of the year, Gleison Bremer. Both clubs are expected to lose their star centre-backs this summer with Matthijs De Ligt expected to join Bayern Munich while PSG are close to agreeing terms on a deal for Milan Skriniar.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report that it’s now a question of timing to see which club makes their sale first in order to free up funds for Bremer.

In recent weeks, Inter were thought to have the clear advantage having already agreed personal terms with the defender, however a delay in Skriniar’s switch to Paris could present Juve with an opportunity to make a move for Bremer.

With Kalidou Koulibaly out of reach, Gazzetta suggest that Juve have no option but to make a bid for the Brazilian international.

Should the Bianconeri fail in their attempt, Gazzetta report the club will shift their attention to Gabriel, Manuel Akanji or Benoit Badiashile.
