Juventus working on Bremer contract extension

Start

Multiple reports suggest that Juventus are closing in on a contract extension for Brazilian defender Gleison Bremer. The Brazilian international is in his second season with the Bianconeri, and has earned praise for his dominant defensive performance in the early part of the season, particularly in their 1-0 win over Fiorentina.

Juve are working quickly this year to renew the contracts of a number of key players, having already agreed deals for Federico Gatti, Manuel Locatelli and Nicolo Fagioli in recent weeks.

Fabrizio Romano and others now report that Bremer is the next in line for a contract extension, with a renewal until 2028 expected to be agreed upon imminently.

The 26-year-old centre-back has made  55 appearances in total for the Old Lady, scoring five goals in his debut season alone.
