Inter forward Lautaro Martinez says he is happy at Inter and plans to remain at the club next season, despite the transfer rumours. The Argentine has been linked with a host of European clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
Reports from Italy have suggested that Inter may have to cash in on one of their star players to help fund their transfer dealings this summer, with Martinez and Alessandro Bastoni being the more likely options.
Despite the links, Martinez told The Daily Mail he has no intention of leaving the Nerazzurri:
I’ve not received communications from the club, (but) as of today I want to continue at Inter next season.
My plan is clear. I really want to stay at Inter next season.”
Martinez enjoyed his best season yet with Inter in 2021-22, scoring 25 goals in 49 appearances for the Nerazzurri.
