Lautaro Martinez’s future at Serie A leaders Inter appears to be secure, with his agent expressing confidence that the Argentine striker will remain with the club.
In an exclusive interview with CalcioNapoli24 via FcInter1908, Alejandro Camano, Martinez’s agent, emphasized his client’s satisfaction with Inter, describing the striker as feeling valued within the team, almost like a “captain.”
Camano highlighted that Martinez still has two years remaining on his contract and indicated that discussions for a contract renewal will be pursued in due course.
He stated, “He is in an excellent moment, a golden one in the Inter team, and he still has two years left on his contract. Today there are good relations with the club… Lautaro knows that the most important thing today is Inter.”
Despite experiencing a setback with a missed penalty against Atletico Madrid, which led to Inter’s Champions League exit, Martinez’s agent expects him to remain focused on future objectives, particularly aiming to secure Champions League success next season.
“After the disappointment with Atletico, he knows that he must aim for the next objective. Next season, aim for the Champions League again,” Camano remarked.
Martinez has been a standout performer for Inter this season, with an impressive tally of 23 Serie A goals in just 25 appearances, along with four assists.
