Lazio and Milan ask about Allegri availability

Start

Reports from Italy suggest both Milan and Lazio have made enquiries about the availability of Massimiliano Allegri. The former Juventus coach recently reached an agreement with the Bianconeri for the termination of his contract, leaving him free to take on a new role, having been dismissed by Juve.

Alfredo Pedulla reports that Lazio president Claudio Lotito personally called Allegri to ask him for possible availability, saying there was no definitive answer given.

Meanwhile, RAI Italia report on a  “sensational rumor”  which suggests that Allegri has been contacted by Milan for the role of new head coach. The news from RAI ends with the question: “Could it be true that the spark has been reignited?”

For several days now, all indications have pointed to Paulo Fonseca as the successor to Stefano Pioli. The Portuguese coach was officially bid farewell by Lille today, a club he has managed with good results over the past two seasons.
