Brighton and Hove Albion defender Leo Ostigard has already completed his Napoli medical ahead of a €5m move. The 22-year-old underwent medical tests at Villa Stuart clinic in Rome and is expected to sign his contract today before the deal is officially announced.
Sky Sport Italia report that the deal is done for the centre-back and the cost of the transfer is expected to be €5m plus a further €3m in bonuses and a percentage of the sell-on fee.
Ostigard spent the last six months on loan at Genoa and is expected at at Napoli’s Dimaro training ground today to begin work for the new season. .
Napoli are planning a rebuild of their defence after the departure of Kalidou Koulibaly, with Fenerbahce defender Kim Min-jae their next target, along with PSG defender Abdou Diallo.
