Bologna striker Marko Arnautovic has reportedly asked to leave the club with Manchester United reportedly closing in on him. The Austrian international enjoyed his best ever league season, scoring 15 goals in all competitions for the Rossoblu in 2021-22.
Il Corriere di Bologna report that United have decided on Arnautovic for the back-up strikers role in Manchester and to add depth to their squad.
TMW report that the 33-year-old is keen on the move and has asked the club to transfer list him, however Bologna are seemingly relucant.
According to the report, The Red Devils are willing to pay between €6-8m for the forward and they’ve prepared a three-year contract worth €3m net per season plus add-ons for the player.
The Rossoblu believed the first offer is too low as they have just under a month to find a viable replacement, with Serie A set to return next week.
