Premier League side Manchester United are working to sign Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to The Athletic. The 27-year-old is into the last year of his contract at Juventus and has reportedly told the club he wishes to leave this summer.
The Athletic write that United now have to decide whether to pursue the signing of Rabiot, regardless of their pursuit of Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong or wait and see how that deal ends.
The report suggests that the Red Devils have placed Rabiot ‘high among a number of candidates’ but they still need to agree personal terms with the French international.
Rabiot has spent three seasons in Turin, making 129 appearances and scoring 6 goals during his time with the Bianconeri.
