Matias Vecino agrees Lazio deal

Uruguayan midfielder Matias Vecino has agreed terms with Lazio and will join them as a free agent this summer. The 30-year-old left Inter last month, having spent five seasons with the Nerazzurri, and now looks set to reunite with coach Maurizio Sarri in the capital.

Sportitalia, Sky Sport Italia and a number others confirm that an agreement has been reached between the player and the Biancocelesti on a three-year contract, ending in June 2025.

Vecino and Sarri previously worked together at Empoli during the 2014-15 season, shortly before his big money move to Inter.

The Uruguay International scored 13 goals in 127 appearances for the Nerazzuri.
