Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the club’s decision to increase their offer to Tottenham comes in the wake of Alessandro Florenzi’s serious injury during a friendly match against Manchester City in the United States. Florenzi underwent an MRI and specialist evaluation, which revealed ligament and meniscus damage, necessitating arthroscopic surgery.
