Start

Milan haveemerged as a contender in the race to secure the signature of Boca Juniors’ promising young talent, Aaron Anselmino, amidst growing interest from clubs across Europe, including Premier League giants Manchester United.

According to reports from Daniele Longo, Milan’s interest in the 18-year-old defender is far from mere speculation, with the Serie A club actively pursuing the youngster. While Premier League clubs, as well as clubs in Germany and Spain, are also monitoring Anselmino’s progress, Milan’s interest in him has solidified in recent months.

Anselmino first caught Milan’s attention after being recommended by a scout who previously identified talents like Enzo Fernandez and Julian Alvarez. Since then, the young Argentine has been closely monitored by Milan’s scouting network, positioning him as a potential addition to the Rossoneri’s ranks. Despite concrete interest from Milan, negotiations between the Italian club and Boca Juniors have yet to commence. Anselmino’s current contract includes a release clause set at €20 million, adding a layer of complexity to any potential transfer discussions.

While Milan boasts defensive options like Alessandro Buongiorno and Maxence Lacroix for the present, Anselmino is viewed as a prospect for the future. The club intends to continue monitoring his progress until the end of the season, weighing the potential benefits of adding the talented defender to their squad.
