Milan are reportedly in advanced talks to sign Sassuolo winger and Italy international Domenico Berardi this summer. The 27-year-old has been with the Neroverdi for several seasons and is keen to take the next step in his career by making the move to a bigger team
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are looking for a right-sided winger and Berardi is considered one of their priorities for next season.
Sassuolo are reportedly asking around €30m and talks with Milan are now at an ‘advanced’ stage with Berardi now hitting 14 goals and 13 assists for the season.
Rossoneri directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have begun talks with their Sassuolo counterparts as club owners Elliott see Berardi as the perfect reinforcement while striker Gianluca Scamacca is also a target for the new campaign.
Should Bahrain-based fund Investcorp take over the club in the coming month, Milan could look to Riyad Mahrez, Renato Sanches and Sebastian Haller as possible summer targets alongside Berardi, while Sven Botman and Divock Origi have reportedly already agreed deals.
