Milan have reportedly begun contacts with Danish club Midtjylland’s for their talented forward Gustav Isaksen. The Rossoneri are in need of attacking talent to bolster their ageing front line, and are already close to securing a deal for Christian Pulisic later today.
Sky Sport Italia now report that the Rossoneri have initiated contact with the Danish forward following his impressive performances in Europa League last season.
Milan were previously thought to be closing in on a move for Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze in an effort to reinforce the right flank, but the two sides have failed to agree on a valuation for the Nigerian international.
The Rossoneri will now turn their attention to Isaksen, who had a spectacular 2022/23 season, scoring 22 goals and providing nine assists for Midtjylland.
Isaksen functions primarily as a right winger but has the ability to play on the left left flank and as a centre-forward.
